How does a salt plate<\/a> become so smooth and beautiful? Everyone obviously knows that the plates will not come out of the earth’s crust as such. Here at the salt plate workshop in Pakistan, you can see how salt blocks <\/a>are made. Muhammad and his men are making salt plates for us in their Punjabi workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is by no means an easy job and is done by hand. Each plate is done separately with care and effort. Making salt plates helps to bring bread to the workers’ families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
