A fun recipe to try out with our Bamboo Jade salt:

Vegetable Stir Fry

This is a very easy yet amazingly delicious recipe to try at home together with our Bamboo Jade salt. It makes a quick and mouth-watering option for dinner. We have written down a vegetarian version, yet you are free to add meat, chicken, or shrimp (or whatever floats your boat, these go with the recipe very neatly!) to the stir-fry. 

 

You will need (this will make around 5-6 servings): 

  • One tablespoon of olive oil
  • One red bell pepper, slice first
  • One yellow bell pepper, slice first
  • 1 cup of sugar snap peas
  • 1 cup of carrots, slice first
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, slice first
  • 2 cups of broccoli
  • 1 cup of baby corn
  • 1/2 cup of water chestnuts
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • Three garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tablespoon of Bamboo jade salt inside the stir-fry
  • 3 Tablespoons of brown sugar
  • One teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • One tablespoon of cornstarch
  • chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnishing
  • Just a bit of Bamboo Jade salt for garnishing

 

Instructions: 

  • First, heat 1 Tablespoon olive oil to medium-high heat in a wok or big skillet. Bell pepper, peas, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn, and water chestnuts; throw them onto your skillet. Cook your vegetables for 2 to 3 minutes, or until almost soft. Add a bit of Bamboo Jade salt to your vegetables while cooking. 
  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, sesame oil, chicken broth, and cornstarch. Whisk well. 
  • Then pour the sauce over the veggies and cook until the sauce has thickened.
  • Serve your stir-fry with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and Bamboo Jade salt.
